These bikes come with an electrically adjustable windshield, adjustable seat height, adjustable ride stiffness, adjustable headlights, adjustable handlebars, ABS and factory detachable saddlebags. Larger than stock windshield (Vstream) installed - comes with factory windshield. Luggage rack with passenger backrest installed. With backrest removed the rack can be used to mount a GIVI monokey trunk. Bike comes with a barely used GIVI trunk with backrest and light kit. Bike also has driver highway pegs, a phone / GPS holder with charging port and easy access battery tender cord installed. New Yuasa battery was installed and the oil was changed this spring. Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 Recalled for Fuel Pump Problem
Tue, 12 Feb 2013Yamaha is initiating a recall on the 2009 Zuma 125 scooter due to an issue with its fuel pump. The recall campaign affects 8,700 units produced between July 2008 and April 2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there may not be the proper clearance in internal fuel pump components, potentially causing an inadequate supply of fuel.
