Yamaha FJ09 description

This Yamaha FJ-09 uses a 847cc cross-plane triple,  It has a smooth fuel delivery in each of it's three selectable performance modes. These mode are selectable on the fly.

The FJ-09 has standard traction control, along with ABS. The Yamaha. ABS is always active, but TC (Traction Control) can be toggled off while the bike is stationary. The FZ-09 is a hit with performance buffs. Both systems worked superbly on the slick and damp roads. Great tourer. As a bonus, for a touring bike, it is much lighter than most at under 500 lbs. And need only a  29" - 30" inseam to get your feet on the ground.

It has a two years added factory warranty.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.
