Yamaha DT175 description
1978 Yamaha DT175 Little history behind this beauty, Bought it as a hobby never really been in the bike game and I needed something to keep my mind busy. Bought it about 2 months ago, did not run or turned on at all. Got a manual Online and started going through it. Replaced the main Wire harness front to back not a single cable is old on this bike. Added blinkers to it. Bought a few switches that were not working (front Break Switch, light switch) Added new Brake light Replaced a few gaskets Replaced Spark Plug Changed Oil Replaced the Seat Rebuilt Carburetor Brand New Battery Replaced fuel filter Re-painted the frame black Painted the engine Silver Got it back running and for the years this bike has it runs strong and shifts through every gear perfectly. It was fun taking it apart and learned something new and amazed my self at how good this bike looks now! Plenty of pictures to see but trust me it looks a thousand times better in person. $500 Dollar Deposit required as soonest auction ends. We can work out the rest. I still have some spare parts as well that I will include with the bike. This bike won't last long, I have the right to end this bike at any time as it has been listed in different websites. Please feel free to ask any questions. |

The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.
A Different Bike Magazine

It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
