Yamaha Bobber description
1977 Yamaha XS650 Custom Bobber "Nekked Hayla" - Built by Daniel Donley of Pandemonium Choppers in Defiance, Ohio. The bike was purchased by me from him in 2012. It also appeared in Cycle Source Magazine Volume 16 Issue 10 / January '13. Great bar hopper, fun and simple. Never any issues and I've put a lot of miles on this bike. Gets a ton of attention and draws a crowd at most bike shows. I've made some minor changes to the bike since it appeared in Cycle Source, different tank, grips, seat, chain tensioner, and the mirror was removed.
All RAW Steel & Aluminum, NO Paint,
Has a hand rubbed scotch brite pad finish with lots of coats of WD-40

The Pursuit of Yamaha-ness – A Message from Yamaha’s CEO
Thu, 10 Jan 2013Yamaha must “pursue true Yamaha-ness and break out of our old norms” if it hopes to increase profitability, says Hiroyuki Yanagi, the company’s president and chief executive officer. In an open letter released by Yamaha, Yanagi discussed what his company needed to do in order to reach its goal of producing 12 million units this year and collecting 2 trillion yen (US$22.5 billion) in sales. Yanagi’s message offered little in specific details but provided a glimpse of Yamaha’s overall strategy for the next few years.
