THE SHORT WIDE CURVED PUSH-IN STEM FITS SNUG WITH A SHOOTING STAR LOGO, SOME LIGHT CHATTER NEAR LIP. THE DARK SPOT ON BOTTOM OF BOWL APPEARS TO BE ON SURFACE, DOES NOT COME THRU BRIAR, OTHERWISE BRIAR IS NICE. THE PIPE IS 5-1/2 INCHES LONG, 2 IN. Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Mission Motorcycles Sues Co-Founder
Tue, 31 Dec 2013Mission Motorcycles is suing Vincent Ip, one of three co-founders of the electric motorcycle company, who was terminated in November. This according to a lawsuit filed this month in U.S. District Court, and first reported by the Associated Press.
Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
