Vincent All description

Vincent Price Lives, eyes open life mask
An Original Life-size work of art Handcrafted especially for you.

Vincent Price (1911 - 1993 ) This is Vincent Price just as he apeared on the poster for HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. Price started as a leading man then evolved into a twisted totally unpredictable villain.

This started with an actual life cast
mask of Vincent Price.
Then it has been sculpturaly
enhanced by me Erick Erickson.
The hair, ears, mustache and eye brows
have been added to create a very
lifelike display.
I sculpted the eyes open
showing expression..

All of the original detail of the
historic cast has been preserved.
So the work of art you get has
a direct link to Vincent Price.
It's like having him right there
with you.
I am a fan and do what I do with
love that you can see in the
final work of art.
I watched House on Haunted Hill and the Tingler while I sculpted
to further infuse the spirit of
Vincent Price.

The finished piece is cast in USG's Tuf-Cal gypsum cement,
it is fiber filled and has polymer additves to assure it will last forever.
  • It measures 10.5" High X 6.25" Wide X 5" Deep.
  • It is aproximatly 4.5 pounds unpacked.

It is finished in Black and White
then rubbed with an antiquing overlay to bring out the detail.
The piece is then sealed with a clear coat to preserve the finish.
Each mask comes with hanging instructions and the screw.

This mask is one of a LIMITED EDITION
signed and numbered by me Erick Erickson the artist.
As a Bonus your purchase comes with a signed and numbered
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.

Record Breaking Vincent Black Shadow Is Top Seller At Bonhams Auction

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

A fully restored, ex-works 1952 Vincent Black Shadow was the top selling motorcycle at the Bonhams auction, held at the International Classic Motorcycle Show at the Staffordshire County Showground on Sunday, April 28, selling for £113,500 (US $176,341 after premiums). This Black Shadow was part of the factory’s bid to set a new 24-hour speed record at Montlhéry in France in May 1952. Mechanical troubles prevented that from happening, but the team still came away with eight records, including six hours at over 100 mph.

Behind the “Bathing Suit” Picture

Fri, 09 Jan 2009

Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.

Nigerian King’s Rudge Multi, Plus Many Other Rare Motorcycles, For Sale At Bonhams Auction

Thu, 22 May 2014

The upcoming Bonhams Banbury Run Sale is set to be a motorcycle enthusiast’s dream, with 102 lots of iconic bikes available to the highest bidder. Within the sale, an intriguing duo of Brough Superiors will be offered for auction from a family synonymous with motorcycles for generations – Myerscough. The motoring history behind the Myerscough family began in 1893 when Leonard Myerscough opened a business repairing and selling bicycles, followed by motorcycles and automobiles. At the peak of this business, five locations serviced the Liverpool area under the banner L Myerscough & Sons Ltd. Encouraged by his father, the eldest son, Len Jr, took up dirt track racing in the late 1920s, enjoying success as a contracted team rider for both the Belle Vue Aces and Preston teams from 1928 to 1931.
