Montana’s own label, Philly Sound Works, began with the release of the instrumental single “Heavy Vibes” which was inspired by the simple fact that the Vibraharp is so heavy to cart around. Mixed by Izzy Sanchez, this catchy track scored Montana a Top Ten Club Hit in ’82, yet is still being sought out by DJs today for its awesome groove and striking vibe solo. With scaled-down rhythmic club classics, up-beat orchestral compositions, Latin ballads and even a bit of jazz – this is one of Montana’s most flavorful productions. Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
Mission Motorcycles Sues Co-Founder
Tue, 31 Dec 2013Mission Motorcycles is suing Vincent Ip, one of three co-founders of the electric motorcycle company, who was terminated in November. This according to a lawsuit filed this month in U.S. District Court, and first reported by the Associated Press.
