Vincent All description

Meet Doctor Phibes: a one-time concert musician who's now an all-time crazed murderer. In this clever, crypt-kicking classic, horror-meister Vincent Price plays a diabolical doc seeking the ultimate in revenge with precision creepiness and surgical wit. Watch Dr. Phibes live up to his promise: Nine killed her, nine shall die, nine eternities in doom!

After a team of surgeons botch his beloved wife's surgery, leaving her for dead, the emotionally distraught Dr. Phibes creatively concocts a fatal prescription for revenge. Using the Good Book as his guide, Phibes unleashed a score of old testament atrocities -- from a plague of locusts to an attack of rats -- on his enemies that climax in what may be one of the eeriest endings on screen record (Syracuse Herald-Journal)!

Please read below for any information regarding Australian Postage, International Postage, Feedback, Postage Methods, Payment Methods, Region Coding Explained, TV Formats Explained, DVD Format Specifics, Import Tax, Refund Policy

  • Postage Within Australia
Regular Post: Here at Essential DVDs we offer free regular post on all our items when delivering to Australian addresses. Regular post is Australia Posts' basic delivery service, it does not have tracking and takes an average of 4 to 6 working days for delivery. Please note, this estimated delivery time is from when the item is posted, not when the item has been paid for. Delivery times of as low as 2 working days or as long as 10 working days occasionally occur. As I do not work for Australia post, I cannot do anything about these delays, nor can I track items that get delayed in the mail system without an added tracking number. This service is for within Australia only, for International Postage please the section for International Postage.

Registered Post: There is the option for customers to add tracking and signature upon delivery to any order using Registered Post. This comes at a charge of $3.50 per order, and covers any size order. We recommend Registered Post as this 100% guarantees against any chance of orders being lost in the mail. Registered Post delivery times are the same as Regular Post - 4 to 6 working days on average.

Express Post: For customers who want their order delivered as soon as possible, we offer Australia Posts' Express service at $8.00 per order. Express Post delivers within 24-36 hours to 80% of Australia's business and private addresses. The remaining 20% of rural addresses may take a little longer, but is much faster than Regular Post.

All items are posted within 2 working days of payment received, and the most recent address provided will be used as the shipping address (usually the PayPal address). Please inform us of any address change so that items are posted to the correct destination. All addresses are printed directly from the eBay invoices so there can be no spelling mistakes in addresses.

  • International Postage

A single DVD can be shipped anywhere in the world for $5.00 via Standard International Post. This service has no tracking, and takes 10-15 working days depending on the country the item is being delivered to. Additional DVDs will also cost $5.00, and the price is slightly higher for anything heavier or in a Boxed Set. Items can be sent internationally with tracking via Registered International Post for a total of $13.00

Import Tax: Some countries around the world have import taxes associated with importing goods from overseas. We are not responsible for paying the taxes required for international customers to receive their orders. Please make sure you understand your countries import tax laws before purchasing

  • Postage Packaging
We take the utmost care when packaging DVDs for shipment. All DVDs will be posted within bubble padded bags. Foam beads and cardboard sheeting may also be used where required. This has been found to be the most effective method for shipping DVDs. Despite many trials using different materials over the past 6 years, occasionally items get damaged in the post. On the rare occasion that a DVD case is cracked, please notify us and we will send out a new case, or refund the cost of a new case. In the event of a disc spilling loose inside the cover, and subsequently being scratched, a replacement will be sent out, or full refund issued upon return of the DVD.

  • Feedback
This account is set to leave feedback automatically for customers once orders are posted. It would be appreciated if customers would do the same once items arrive. Please email us regarding any issues involving damaged items in the post, or faulty DVDs before leaving feedback as these issues are Australia Post or Supplier related, and are not a direct reflection of the service we provide. Of course, eBay's feedback system is completely voluntary. If you don't want to leave us feedback that is fine.

  • Payment Methods
Please make payment within 7 days of purchase. If you need longer for payment, email us and other arrangements can usually be made. Accepted Payment Methods are PayPal, Bank Deposit, and Money Order.

PayPal Instant Payments are the fastest method of payment. Please be aware that PayPal eCheques take up to 7 working days to clear.

If paying via Bank Deposit, please complete the Checkout Process on eBay to access our Bank Account details. Using Internet Banking is the easiest way to complete a Bank Deposit, but if you would rather complete the deposit in person make sure you have a St George / Bank SA branch nearby. PLEASE leave your eBay user ID as reference when you complete a bank deposit! We take anything from 5 - 15 deposits a day and it causes delays when deposits show up with no description. When that happens we cannot post the item until we have successfully matched the deposit to an order, and sometimes this can take as long as 2 weeks as many items sell for the same price. Also, please allow 3 to 4 working days for a deposit to clear. Some banks are quicker than others.

Money Orders are also accepted, but they are an added expense to the buyer and will take roughly 4 working days to reach us, meaning the order will take a further 4-6 working days after that to arrive. Estimated delivery time for orders paid via Money Order is 10-12 working days.

If you don't intend to pay for an item, DO NOT purchase it. It just wastes our time... We will follow through eBay's dispute process to obtain all lost fees incurred for the sale. This will result in the Non Paying Buyer receiving a Strike, and potentially being kicked off eBay.

  • Region Coding Information
Australian DVDs are coded in Region 4 format. All DVD Players purchased in Australia will play Region 4 DVDs. Occasionally we stock Region 1 (USA) DVDs, usually because a particular DVD is a popular title which has not been released in Australian Region 4 format yet. Region 1 DVDs will require a Multi-Region DVD Player. Some DVDs are Region free / Region ALL / Region 0 which all mean there is no coding, and will play in any DVD Player. The majority of DVD Players are capable of playing Region 1, 4 and 0 DVDs these days, and if you are unsure please consult your DVD Player manual, or conduct an internet search on your DVD model. Every item we list will clearly state which Region the DVD is coded for so there should be no confusion.

  • PAL / NTSC TV Formats
Australian TVs display using PAL format as a standard but many these days are both PAL and NTSC compatible. Our listings will mention what format each particular DVD is. International customers, please take note of what your TV is capable of displaying before purchasing

  • BLURAY and HD DVD formats
BLURAY and High Definition DVDs were both released as new and improved formats to the Standard DVD, with better overall quality. BLURAY outsold HD DVD and as a result the production of HD DVDs was ceased. Both formats require their own specific DVD players. BLURAY will not play in a HD DVD Player and HD DVDs will not play in a BLURAY Player. Neither will play in a standard DVD Player. Please ensure you are buying the correct DVD format for the DVD Player you intend in playing it in.

  • Refunds Policy
Refunds are given for items broken or damaged in the post or for faulty DVDs, upon return of the item. Please purchase DVDs for your specific DVD player, TV display format, and DVD player region code as all this information is provided in the listings.

  • Local Pick Up
For insurance purposes Essential DVDs cannot offer local pick up as we are not covered adequately for customers entering our stock rooms. All items must be posted regardless of distance to meet our insurers terms and conditions. We do not have a shop front, this is strictly an internet based business.
