Also any single lot or multiple lots which sells internationally for $50.00 to $400.00  must be sent by REGISTERED MAIL - US registration fees are $12.50, if this lot sell for over $400.00 it must be sent by Priority Mail International which cost $44.00 plus insurance fee or Express Mail International which costs $44.95; NO EXCEPTIONS.

International Buyers: all custom duties and charges are the responsibility of the buyer and NOT the seller; the seller will not pay any custom duties charges on a package, the seller will not lie or enter incorrect information on the US Customs Form since it is a felony. If the receiving country discovers that the custom form is incorrect, you will have to pay the duty and be fined. It is best to just know  what the customs fees will be and be ready to pay them. The seller is not responsible if a package is lost, stolen, or damaged, unless that package is insured or registered. Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class Nominees Announced

The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation released its list of nominees for the AMA Hall of Fame Museum induction class of 2012. The 26 nominees represents a wide range of contributions to motorcycling, from motocross champions and Daytona 200 winners to tuners to motorcycle rights advocates. The selection committee will further trim the list down to six individuals, three from competition categories and three from non-competition categories.
