Large Lithograph.  Vincent Van Gogh. "Digging Peasant Woman"

This print and the next one being listed were in large wooden frames. I was always going to hang them somewhere in house, but Sharon my wife, was not too enthused about them. So, they went into storage, and I did removed them from the frames, and actually put the frames on the curb, and they went to a new owner.  They are not evenly cut, as they were cut to fit the frames.

Excuse my ignorance, but cannot tell you much about them, other than the below.

VINCENT VAN GOGH.

copyright. V.G. in the very left corner.

EDITION STEDELIJK. MUSEUM AMSTERDAM.

COPYRIGHT N. V. "'T LANTHUYS.

CORRECTED WITH THE ORIGINAL.

PRINTED IN THE NETHERLANDS.

20.00" by 27.00" and in very good condition.

There is nothing wrong with this print being listed tonight.   It is old.  I guarantee that. These items being listed today are in very good shape. They are what I describe them as. I guarantee that.  I start all my auctions at .99 cents as it is an auction and I just never cared when I went to live auction and the auctioneer started very high, and then spent time backing down to get a bid.

I am more than happy to combine postage to save money. I will roll carefully, and put in a tube container to mail.

Just let me know you are multiple bidding and I will invoice you when you are finished bidding and wish for me to send the items. Then, I will combine postage and send to you, and send final invoice. If any questions about this, please email me.

The New Age Of Custom Motorcycles – Video

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

In a world where modern motorcycles are full of computers, sensors and plastic, there are still those folks who yearn for the days of yore. A time when motorcycles were made of metal and you used a wrench — not a keyboard — to make your bike go faster. Careful and skilled craftsmanship, along with independent thinking, is a mark of pride among these men and their machines, some of whom are featured in the video below by Gestalten.tv.

Video: 180bhp N2O injected Vincent

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

The Greek God Epithemeus - the name of this three-wheeled, 180bhp Vincent record breaker - was the brother of Prometheus. Epithemeus (meaning afterthought) was the creator of many dangerous, ill thought-out beasts. Unlike his dilligent brother, Epithemeus was a bit of a f**kwit who threw everything at his powerful new animal creations with little thought of the consequences. A perfect name, then.

Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
