The Crankcase Breather Modification is a must for your Vincent. When you park your Vincent is there more than Six drops of oil under your bike? If the answer is yes, you need a Breather. When you Park your Vincent have you received the Valdez award? This Breather with the addition of the one way check valve has helped stop my Vincents from puking oil by over 95%. This Breather installed correctly doubles the Crankcase volume and gives the displaced air inside the motor a place to go instead of blowing out of your ET172/2 Valve Lifter Cable Abutment and your Stock breather tube. Vincent motorcycle elephant trunk breather full kit Step 1 Remove your FT163 Magneto Cowl Step 2 Remove your A22 and your A71S pipe crankcase breather and replace them with the A26 and A27 provided in the kit (see photos) Step 3 Reinstall your FT163 Magneto Cowl Step 4 Remove your ET136/1 magneto drive cover and replace with breather and 6 each 220 provided in the kit Step 5 Route the 3/4" hose between the front and rear cylinders and attach to the breather using 1 tie-wrap (see photos) Step 6 Run the 3/4" hose close to the frame (see photo) Step 7 Cut the 3/4" hose in the middle of the seat stay and insert the check valve white in and black out (see photo) and secure with 2 tie wraps see photo) Step 8 Route the 3/4" hose behind the seat stay (see photo) and secure with 2 tie wraps Step 9 Route the 1/2" hose past the rear wheel axle and terminate (see photo) |

Lee Rocker To Play Free Concert At AIMExpo
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Lee Rocker, of 1980′s Stray Cats fame, and still considered one of the most influential upright bass players in rock n’ roll history, will perform a free concert at the AIMExpo Saturday Night, October 18 outside of the AIMExpo show floor at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Rocker and the band take the stage at 7 p.m. to deliver a rockabilly performance. All AIMExpo attendees with either an admission ticket or a show badge are welcome to attend the intimate performance. Rocker’s performance is sponsored by the Ace Cafe Orlando, Bell Helmets, Kawasaki, Metzeler, AIMExpo, and MOTOTV. 2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class Nominees Announced
Tue, 03 Apr 2012The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation released its list of nominees for the AMA Hall of Fame Museum induction class of 2012. The 26 nominees represents a wide range of contributions to motorcycling, from motocross champions and Daytona 200 winners to tuners to motorcycle rights advocates. The selection committee will further trim the list down to six individuals, three from competition categories and three from non-competition categories.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
