Here is a lovely collectible for Patty Duke fans, a 1963 record album, "Guideposts for Christmas."  Pictured on the cover of the sleeve is a sweet photo of Patty and Norman Vincent Peale looking through a window at a Christmas Nativity scene.  This record is on the Guideposts label, GP 101, mono.  the vinyl is in very good plus to excellent condition.  The sleeve is very good and clean, perfect for display; there is a partial seam split on the top seam.  According to the liner notes on the back, this record was not sold, but was given as a gift to Guideposts subscribers.  Duke and Peale share stories from Guideposts:  The Star and The Shepherd Boy; The Christmas Thief; The Man Who Missed Christmas; The Surprise Feast; The Masterpiece; A String of Blue Beads; The Deputy; Toys For a King; Let's Go Neighboring; A Brother Like That;; Santa Rides The Bus; You Can Keep Christmas; The Stubborn Unbeliever; A Boy's Finest Memory; The Best Part of Giving; The Greatest Christmas Story of All.  Email any questions!

Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.

“The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
