St Vincent Ferrer

Single Decade Rosary

This single decade rosary has a 1" oval nickel silver, brand new St Vincent Ferrer medal which is very interesting because on the back of the medal is the image of a crucifix.  The eleven beads are all genuine Czech glass of the highest quality, faceted and fire-polished, in a generous 8mm size. The Our Father bead is a rich amethyst purple color; and the ten Hail Mary beads are aurora borealis crystal. The 1-1/2" silver-toned crucifix has a rose design on the cross.  The medal and crucifix were made in Italy; the chaplet was designed and handmade by my sister, Joan in our home in the USA. It is about 9-1/2" long.

St Vincent Ferrer was a renowned Dominican of the late 14th century who was a visionary with supernatural gifts.  Considering himself the Angel of the Apocalypse, he set about preparing souls for the Judgement of Christ.  He converted thousands all over Europe, and was even invited to preach in Muslim areas.  He had a gift of tongues; although he spoke only Spanish, all who heard him understood him in their own language.  A miracle worker who is patron of brick and tile makers, builders and construction workers, and plumbers!

Comes gift boxed and with the following:

  • How to Pray the Rosary
  • The 15 Promises of Mary to Christians who pray the rosary daily.
How to Pray the Divine Mercy
  • A full color card with images and prayers to Saint Vincent Ferrer
  • A carry pouch
  • A gift bag and tissue paper

For over 40 years, our family has been making fine hand-crafted gifts and selling them at local craft fairs and farmer's markets in southern Vermont and nearby New York State.  However, it is becoming more difficult for my sister, the rosary maker, and I to travel to and set up at fairs - my sister is disabled and I'm not getting any younger!   We have always enjoyed EBAY and decided to open an ebay store as an alternative method of selling our crafts.  We hope you enjoy our wares and thank you for visiting our Ebay store, Meadowside Country Crafts.

Pray the Rosary for World Peace !!

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014
