    1972 JC Penney Swinger Trail  Yes this is a motorcycle, I have a clear Michigan title in my name. This is a 1972 Swinger Trail. It was made by Rupp Industries (and is based off of the Rupp Roadster 2 cycle, it was sold by JC Penney in the early 1970s and appears in their catalog.

Look closely at the pics and you can see how clean and complete this ultra rare Dunstall machine is. This is not a Norton with Dunstall parts installed but the complete bike manufactured by Dunstall........The last three pics are the original paper work from the original owner who traveled to England from California to meet with Paul Dunstall, order the bike, and ride it around Europe before shipping it back to the states.

    THERE IS NO TITLE. ~~~~~~~~~~ THE MOTOR DOES RUN ~~~~~~~~~~   I SPOSE' AN EXHAUST FROM A DKW/SACHS/PENTON WOULD WORK-   I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS MOTOR WAS EVER INSTALLED IN THESE BIKES.THERE ARE SEVERAL PHOTO'S ONLINE SHOWING  THE SACHS MOTOR.,,,,,,  THE MOUNTS SEEM TO LINE UP WITH NO PROBLEM ALTHOUGH THE REAR MOUNTS THAT WERE WELDED TO THE FRAME ARE MISSING.  IF THEY  WERE THERE IT WOULD SEEM THEY WOULD LINE UP WITH THE BACK OF THE SACHS MOTOR.  , VERY NICE FENDERS , TANK, AS WELL AS SEAT.   E-Z RESTORATION ON A OBSURE MX'ER.    STORAGE  FOR AREASONABLE PERIOD IS FINE.

Lee Rocker To Play Free Concert At AIMExpo

Lee Rocker, of 1980′s Stray Cats fame, and still considered one of the most influential upright bass players in rock n’ roll history, will perform a free concert at the AIMExpo Saturday Night, October 18 outside of the AIMExpo show floor at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Rocker and the band take the stage at 7 p.m. to deliver a rockabilly performance. All AIMExpo attendees with either an admission ticket or a show badge are welcome to attend the intimate performance. Rocker’s performance is sponsored by the Ace Cafe Orlando, Bell Helmets, Kawasaki, Metzeler, AIMExpo, and MOTOTV. Ace Cafe, the legendary British hub for vintage motorcycle, car and music events, announced plans to open its first U.S.

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The motoring history behind the Myerscough family began in 1893 when Leonard Myerscough opened a business repairing and selling bicycles, followed by motorcycles and automobiles. At the peak of this business, five locations serviced the Liverpool area under the banner L Myerscough & Sons Ltd. Encouraged by his father, the eldest son, Len Jr, took up dirt track racing in the late 1920s, enjoying success as a contracted team rider for both the Belle Vue Aces and Preston teams from 1928 to 1931.

Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations

On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.

Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
