2006 VICTORY VEGAS WITH COLLISION DAMAGE AND A GOOD TITLE! I was told that the engine on this bike was tweaked by a local reputable racing team. I will try to get more info in the next few days. Bike runs excellent! Damage: Handle bars are bent, left mirror, front seat ripped (just happened in transport)fuel tank damaged on both sides, brake pedal broken, right fork leg bit of rash top portion, front fender edge bit of rash, headlamp trim ring, shift linkage is broken along with shaft coming out of trans case, rear fender edge minor. Powder coated frame, wheels and tricked out engine. easy fix , sharp bike with a good title and low mileage! Fuel tanks are on Ebay fairly reasonable. Contact Allen 201-248-3818. Tue, 06 Nov 2012We had a treat last month at the AMA Pro Flat Track season finale, joining the packed grandstands in Pomona, California, for some thrilling dirt-track racing you can read about here. The action on the half-mile dirt oval was intense, with Kenny Coolbeth taking the checkers, but it was Jared Mees who won the championship after his eighth-place finish. While most of the tracks in the series are on simple ovals, there are two TT circuits on the schedule.
Sidecar Motocross Racer Tests Positive for Clenbuterol
Thu, 05 Sep 2013The International Motorcycling Federation announced it has provisionally suspended sidecar motocross passenger Lauris Daiders after a urine sample tested positive for the prohibited substance clenbuterol. The positive test came from an in-competition urine test at the July 21 FIM Sidecar Motocoss Championship round in Strassbessenbach, Germany. Lauris rides passenger with his brother Janis Daiders in the Sidecar Motocross world championship.
Polaris Reports Q1 2012 Results
Wed, 18 Apr 2012Polaris Industries reported a 44% increase in on-road vehicle sales revenue and a 40% increase in North American Victory Motorcycle unit sales over the first quarter of 2012. According to Polaris’ first quarter report, its on-road vehicle division (which consists of the Victory and Indian motorcycle brands as well as electric vehicle brands GEM and Goupil) generated $64.7 million in sales revenue, compared to $44.9 million reported in the same quarter of 2011. Of course, the Polaris didn’t yet own Indian, GEM or Goupil during that quarter last year, so the figures are a bit misleading.
