Victory Vegas description

2005 Victory Vegas, Vegas well kept and priced to get riding now! - VEGAS. LONG, LOW AND STRETCHED. LIKE THE ROAD ITSELF. Do you remember where you were the first time you saw a Victory Vegas? After all, it’s the kind of bike that stops traffic dead in its tracks. It’s the cause of, and the reward for, a double-take. And it’s the kind of scenery that makes a 6-year-old grab Dad’s hand and point with excitement. That’s the power of the award-winning Vegas. Long, low, stretched style, flowing lines and custom details that get you right where it counts. For proof, see the sculpted tank with raised spine and split tail. Pure custom. As is the flush-mounted taillight. Laced wheels. New, more comfortable seat. And chrome to the max. Those looking for a smooth ride will also like what they find. Like the gem at the heart of the Vegas. The Freedom 92/5. It’s an overhead-cam, 4-valve, fuel-injected, counterbalanced, torque-filled beauty that tells you this bike is more than just a pretty face. You get a rubber-mounted handlebar with new self-canceling turn signals. Bold, new paint. And a choice of even more custom options. Prices listed are MSRP for stock solid black model. Alternate paint options or additional options may increase price. (CA model: additional cost)

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.

Victory has announced a recall for certain Lock & Ride passenger backrests sold as accessories for the Cross Roads, Cross Country and Hard-Ball models because of a risk of them falling off. Officially, the recall affects 8,819 backrests including both the chrome (part #2877938) and black (part #2877938-266), but only a fraction may have a problem. On their own, there are no issues with the Lock & Ride passenger backrests.
