INFORMATION I FOUND ON INTERNET :::
For 2011, Victory has completely overhauled its six-speed overdrive transmission—complete with new engine cases—and produced a motorcycle that shifts as well as it does everything else. Along with tighter tolerances and bigger, stronger gears comes a raft of benefits: a 66-percent reduction in driveline lash, a new Neutral Assist (which positively puts the bike in neutral when you toe the lever upward from first gear below 5 mph), a stretching-out of recommended oil-change intervals to 5000 miles and, last but not least, a reduction in drivetrain noise that allows Victory cruisers to emit a bit more exhaust noise. A little more rumble than before is nice, and the new six-speed goes in all the 2011 bikes across the board.
Every new Victory gets a 106-inch Freedom V-Twin, too. The Cross bikes (Cross Roads and Cross Country) and Visions use the Stage 1 version, with claimed output of 92 hp and 109 ft.-lb. of torque. All cruiser models—Vegases, Hammers and Kingpins—get a new Stage 2 Version said to crank out 97 horses and 113 ft.-lb. And though I am not a fan of loud pipes, these new ones are just enough louder to be music to my ears.
Lock and Ride Trunk.
Victory’s engineers are also proud of their new Lock & Ride Trunk for the Cross bikes (retrofittable to 2010 models). It is sweet indeed for those who refuse to travel light and/or don’t want their significant others falling off the back. The front of the trunk comes with a padded passenger backrest and dual audio speakers, and when you click the thing into place (in seconds, without tools), plugging in one cord gives you four-channel sound, a big trunk taillight and an accessory power outlet. (Every 2011 Cross Country and Cross Roads comes with a spare lock cylinder for trunk use, so the ignition key fits everything.) When the trunk is on the bike, a locking pin inserted through one of the saddlebags keeps it from being borrowed—which is a good thing because, at $1749, it is not inexpensive.

New Arai Vector-2 And RX-Q Graphic Options Available – Video
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Arai has just released two new graphics, one for the Vector-2 and another for the RX-Q model lines. The new RX-Q Flame design, from the famed studio of Aldo Drudi, takes its inspiration from the stylish paint jobs hot rodders have applied to their rides for decades. Traditional flame graphics lay over a base of linear and gradient forms, perfectly combining old and new. Just like those hot-rod machines of old, this one definitely stands out on the road.
Polaris Acquires French Quadricycle-maker Aixam Mega
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Polaris has added another brand to its growing list of acquisitions, buying out Aixam Mega S.A.S., a French manufacturer of light-duty commercial vehicles and quadricycles – small four-wheeled enclosed vehicles that can be driven, in some markets, without an automobile driver’s license. Aixam Mega joins Polaris’ portfolio which already includes Victory Motorcycles, Indian Motorcycles, electric vehicle makers Global Electric Motorcars and Groupil. Like GEM and Groupil, Axiam Mega produces small vehicles, though its products include both electric and diesel-powered vehicles.
Polaris Reports Q1 2012 Results
Wed, 18 Apr 2012Polaris Industries reported a 44% increase in on-road vehicle sales revenue and a 40% increase in North American Victory Motorcycle unit sales over the first quarter of 2012. According to Polaris’ first quarter report, its on-road vehicle division (which consists of the Victory and Indian motorcycle brands as well as electric vehicle brands GEM and Goupil) generated $64.7 million in sales revenue, compared to $44.9 million reported in the same quarter of 2011. Of course, the Polaris didn’t yet own Indian, GEM or Goupil during that quarter last year, so the figures are a bit misleading.
