Mon, 26 May 2014Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Unveiled at the New York City stop of the International Motorcycle Shows tour, the 15th Anniversary Cross Country Tour Limited Edition comes in an Antares red over Gloss Black paint scheme, just like the original 1998 V92C that was the first motorcycle to roll off the line at Victory’s factory in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The 15th Anniversary model also features a custom seat, billet wheels, chrome details, removeable saddlebag and trunk liners, a Garmin GPS navigation system, XM satellite radio, Kicker speakers, black windscreen and an iPhone/iPod connector.

Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
