Here is a true barn find! Bike had been sitting in a shed for over 20 yrs. Odometer reading is accurate. It was in very poor condition from sitting for so long. Tank had dent and paint was faded. Engine had low compression but did turn over. Tires were rotted and brakes were seized, you get the idea. The following is a long list of what was done to bring it back to life.1. 1969 CB750 sandcast low reasonable starting price and buy it now.Matching number: VIN number 1005907, Engine number 1005418 I bought it a few years ago and started working on it but now because of back pain I am not able to finish it so it must go to another fan of sandcast guy to bring it to the perfect condition. It was sitting for years when I bought it, I cleaned it, Changed oil and filter, cleaned carburetors and changed gas lines and used another portable gas tank and start and now it runs but needs a little synchronising on carburetors. No Battery.Fron caliper is professionally rebuild and painted and come with bike as you see on pictures some missing mounting bolt and screws. it has regular ignition switch but will come with receded switch and key that shown on pictures.left hand mirrors part is broken as shown on pictures. side covers and light head bucket and ears are repainted but gas tank has its own previous paint. Inside wrinckle gas tank is nice and free of rust. Not noticeable rust. duck tail seat. double cut fender has a little bend on end part needs to be fixed.I changed on this bike handle bar since it was not original to the bike and also short chain guard. Air box has no crack or repair and will come with bike. It has 4 in 2 very nice exhaust pipes so I did not change it. 1983 Honda CB 1000C Low Miles (1983)
A nice example of a rare 1983 Honda CB 1000 C. I am the second owner, and have taken great care of this bike. Original miles are stated, all parts are Honda or Hondaline. There are no known issues with this bike, and is ridden on occasion. Current registration, clear MN title in my name, and turn key condition. This is a real nice cruising bike, both on the highway and in the city. 10 gears ( 5 hi or 5 low). Depending on the riding condition, allows you to adjust to hills or flatland riding. I have painstakingly replaced, or repaired many components that were bad or going bad over the last several years. Some new items in the last year are: Front tire, CDI units, Fuel valve, Carburetors rebuilt and synchronized, brake calipers rebuilt, new brake pads replaced, new plug wires, spark plugs, air filter, rear brake master cylinder rebuilt, front brake rotors replaced (V65 vented rotors). There are NO known problems with this bike, and is fully functional and fast. Feel free to ask questions, as I will do my best to answer. Note: I have the original rear grab bar, it comes with the bike, just not currently installed. ( see Photo ) Note: The seat is OEM and has never been recovered. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
Drag Specialties Releases New Harley FXS/FLS and Victory Hammer Seats
Thu, 14 Aug 2014Drag Specialties, long known for its quality aftermarket parts, has released new seats for two different American motorcycle manufacturers. Harley-Davidson FXS/FLS models now have stylish Predator Seats available for their bike. The solar-reflective leather on the seat surface is claimed to reduce the surface temperature of a sun-baked seat by “as much as 25 degrees.” The sides are constructed of automotive-grade vinyl.
