Since its introduction in 2008, the Vision has been our favorite at Cruisin' 66. One ride on this beauty and you're sure to understand why. The vision's aluminum frame and low center of gravity really make it a sportbike that thinks its a luxury touring machine. Luxury features on this bike include heated seats, heated hand grips, 4 speaker AM/FM/WB stereo with aux inputs, windshield that raises and lowers on the fly with the push of a button, ABS brakes. We have also added Stage 1 exhaust, a trunk net, lower wind deflectors and a heel shifter. The 106 cubic inch motor (1731cc) powers this thing down whatever road you choose to take it on, and the 6 speed overdrive transmission keeps the RPMs low giving outstanding fuel economy. Happy (Belated) Birthday, Victory!

We missed it yesterday, but July 4, 2011, represented Victory Motorcycles’ 13th birthday! Founded on July 4, 1998, the Polaris Industries-owned Victory Motorcycles has carved out its niche in the American motorcycle market with its line of cruisers and touring bikes. To celebrate its birthday, Victory released a video (look for it after the jump) featuring a test of its anti-lock brake system on a variety of surfaces.

Himmelmann Dominates FIM e-Power & TTXGP Combined Event

Germany’s Matthias Himmelmann dominated the FIM e-Power & TTXGP combined event held Sept. 23 at the Le Mans circuit, in opening of the renowned FIM 24 Hours Endurance race. Not to discount Himmelmann’s win, but the most remarkable thing about the race is how much faster the electric-powered motorcycles lapped the Bugatti circuit this year.

But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.
