Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

Victory presented Project 156

Sun, 07 Jun 2015

Victory has teamed up with Roland Sands Design to completely declassify the Project 156, a hand-built race bike for the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The motorcycle is equipped with a liquid-cooled V-twin, powered by two 67-mm “chokes”, which are supplied with air through an air intake located in a false tank. The fuel tank is located under the engine.
