This is a 6-pin AC Racing Performance CDI with an Unrestricted Rev Limit and an advanced timing curve for the GY6 50cc 125cc and 150cc engines. Engine applications include the 139QMB, 152QMI, 152QMJ, 157QMI, and 157QMJ. These CDI's have no governor and eliminate that irritating rev-limiter which might be keeping your engine speed restricted. See attached photo labeled "Deciphering Chinese Engines Codes" for clarification in determining your engine type.

This CDI is similar to our orange performance CDI but has a more aggressive ignition advance curve. This is a performance CDI for the Baja, JMstar, Jonway, Lance, NST, Peace, Roketa, Sunl, Tank, TNG, Vento, VIP and many others.. Compatibility, however, is based on matching wiring and connectors. Please ensure your make and model have the same connector and number of pins prior to ordering.

Mechanics Note: According to our expert customers and the experts on the Scootdawg Proboards there is only one true way to know if you have an AC or DC system. Be sure your battery is fully charged and your fuse is good. Turn the key on, but DO NOT start your engine. In this pin configuration

If the #6 pin has 12v present, it is a DC fired system. If not then it is AC. Your AC system can have over 50v AC while cranking.
