The secret of the Carbon Vento by Marcus Ehning lies in the innovative sandwich of materials that make up the padding: the inner layer, in contact with the horse's leg, is a two-way stretch fabric for maximum comfort. The middle layer is an AEROX perforated micro-neoprene - these micro holes are perpendicular to the leg and are designed to facilitate the removal of heat away from the leg. The outer layer is a special 3D fabric that facilitates the upward removal of heat. The main outer shell 54-SHORE TPU, a flexible and exremely strong polyurethane mixture, provides excellent protection agains abrasion, deteriation and the multiple stresses on the legs caused by the activities of sport horses. This 54-SHORE TPUmaintains its elasto-mechanical properties from minus 15 degrees up to fifty degrees without any variation of rigidity and flexibility.
