Selling my 1972 Triumph Trophy TR6C (the C is for 'competition') bike, engine and frame numbers match. This is a rare scrambler version of the Trophy, only 1150 built for that year. Four speed transmission. Top end rebuilt two years ago and clutch rebuilt this summer. New original style seat, new tail light and lens. Dunlop tires and correct English wheels, custom scrambler pipes, the original was a high pipe like this as well. Bike does leak some oil, as British bikes do. No gas leaks. I still have the metal BSA-style air box but replaced them with 1960's style side covers since it looks better. But you can easily put the bike back to stock, all parts and spares I have come with sale if desired. OIF bike. CA registration is current until March 2017. Really fun bike to cruise on. It's a runner

Sandwiched in between swaths of little sun icons were two little black clouds spewing raindrops. Naturally, those were the scheduled dates for the US press to ride the 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS on the Andalusian backroads and the famed Circuito de Jerez Angel Nieto in southern Spain.

Tue, 02 Feb 2016Triumph has unveiled a new product called the Tiger Sport. The motorcycle received an inline 1050cc “triple”, installed on the latest generation of Speed Triple, an electronic “throttle”, a multi-level traction control, cruise control, ABS and a slipper clutch. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.

I asked them for a stack of products to fit to the 2011 Speed Triple to see what difference they make. The thing about modern day sports tyres is they offer huge grip when fully leant over, but we are often too nervous to make the most of this, simply because the British road surfaces are changeable and largely unpredictable.
