My partner and I just spent the last 6 months restoring and building a Cafe Racer. I have a clean clear California title. Bike has been on non-operational status since 10-08-1997.
Everything was touched, checked, cleaned, chromed, powdercoated, painted or replaced! Everything is beautifully done and customized. Few special things are hand built battery box, converted to 12v, BSA Side cover, new exhaust, new Tach, all new wiring, new tail light, new gas cap and parcel rack, spokes and brakes Re Chromed parts include: Kickstand, badges, Motor mounts, tach bracket, Rear brake arm, shifters and brake and kick levers, license plate bracket, fender support, front fender and a few more Powdercoated parts: Frame, battery box, misc brackets, some hardware, triple trees ALL the hardware that is not chrome has been zinc plated. Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Mon, 19 Apr 2010Saturday morning was a stonker wasn’t it? A group of us ranging from neighbours, brothers, mates and girlfriends got up and headed down to the coast for a spot of bacon and eggs. We had a real diverse selection or bikes actually with a GSX1400, XJR1300, Triumph Speedmaster, MT01, A Yamaha R1 and my Triumph Speed Triple.
