It had a 58 bhp (43 kW), 740-cubic-centimetre (45 cu in) air-cooled OHV unit construction straight-three engine, with four gears and a conventional chassis and suspension.[2] The engine had less vibration than the existing 360° twins.

In as new condition without ever having serial number stamping.  Block where numbers are to be has proper embossed Triumph stamping.  I bought this a number of years ago from well regarded British Columbia collector/restorer, Rick Brown.  Rick acquired this and completed a full out piece-by-piece build using only the best upgraded correct components.  The cases shine, and one would think it to be a NOS time capsule.  Included are correct Amals fitted to manifold bracket.  This is a show condition motor and I have it displayed as such in climate-controlled environment.  It has never been run, and on occasion turned over by hand.   Will ship anywhere. Properly crated it weighs 215 lbs.  Shipping will be by freight. Bike is an original unrestored 4-speed 72 Trident with original paint on the tank and frame. I have the original side covers with the original paint on them as well, but they are fiberglass and much of the paint on them has flaked off. Rather than have them painted I found two used side covers and had them painted with Don Hutchinson paint because they dress up the bike so nicely.

2024 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer Review – First Ride

Fri, 03 May 2024

More spinning mass for the Tiger’s Triple For the 2024 model year, the US will see only the Tiger 1200 Explorer models hitting dealership floors, while our friends up north will have the Pro models only. In 2025, the whole family will be getting back together in both countries. So, for now, we’ll focus on the Tiger 1200 Explorer models and the slight revisions that Triumph brought us to the beautiful Scottish countryside just outside of Glasgow, to test out.

Good things come in threes Photos: Triumph There’s a reason why Trader Joe’s is beloved by so many when it comes to their grocery shopping. It boils down to a phenomenon known as decision paralysis. At your typical grocery store, for any particular item, you have dozens upon dozens of choices.

2024 Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X Review – First Ride

Mon, 26 Feb 2024

Two new lightweights that deliver vastly different experiences The folks in Hinckley have been busy in recent years bolstering Triumph’s reputation as a two-wheeled powerhouse of tech and performance. In the past six months or so, however, it’s also been releasing new models across its product line and entering highly competitive segments that are new to the British marque in the modern era. Now, with its new 398cc liquid-cooled, four-valve Single, the company is poised to attack the lightweight/entry-level class.

2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 Review – First Ride

Mon, 22 Jan 2024

Minor revisions for the XE with a big step forward in approachability for the X Photos Courtesy of Triumph Motorcycles Triumph is, arguably, the manufacturer who brought scrambler styling back into the limelight nearly 20 years ago now. For many of those years, it was just that, a styling exercise to capitalize on the classic cool that scramblers imbue. It wasn’t until the end of 2018 that Triumph stepped up its scrambler game in a way that truly harkened back to what the desert sleds of yore were used for – scramblin’ off the beaten path.

2024 Triumph Tiger 900 Review – First Ride

Fri, 12 Jan 2024

Upgrades for All Since its launch in 2020, Triumph’s Tiger 900 platform has been impossible to keep out of the middleweight ADV conversation. With 45,000 sold to date, Triumph clearly didn’t need to reinvent the wheel with its 2024 models, but there are a few key revisions across both the Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro models that really make them shine even brighter on and off road. After arriving in Malaga, Spain, Triumph sat us down for a brief presentation to tell us all about the new updates for 2024.

Tue, 19 Dec 2023

The definition of a sleeper, know these 5 things about it before you buy Being the sole engine supplier to a race series has its benefits. The big one being able to incorporate changes into the harshest environment possible and get feedback from 30 of the best test riders in the world. And when you get a general consensus that whatever you’ve done was a step in the right direction, it’s easy enough to incorporate those changes (or versions of it) into the motorcycles you and I can buy at the dealership.

2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R/RS Review - First Ride

Fri, 03 Mar 2023

A significant engine update combined with further chassis refinement Credit: Photos by Gareth Harford, Andrew Northcott, and Chippy Wood For the previous week, I’d anxiously checked the weather reports for updates. Sandwiched in between swaths of little sun icons were two little black clouds spewing raindrops. Naturally, those were the scheduled dates for the US press to ride the 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS on the Andalusian backroads and the famed Circuito de Jerez Angel Nieto in southern Spain.

2023 Triumph Tiger 900 Aragon Edition Models Certified in Australia

Wed, 04 Jan 2023

Special edition versions of the GT Pro and Rally Pro Triumph is preparing to add a pair of special edition Tiger 900 models for 2023, according to updated vehicle certification data from Australia. Available for both the road-going Tiger 900 GT and the more off-road equipped Tiger 900 Rally, the special edition models are likely in recognition of Iván Cervantes’ victory for Triumph in the 2022 Baja Aragón last July. Australian homologation data for the Tiger 900 models was updated just before Christmas, adding two new variants: Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition and Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition.
