Triumph Trident description

I’m selling my 1975 Triumph T160 Trident that I restored 15 yrs. ago.  The only part missing is the cover over the starter motor.  This was a complete teardown, every nut and bolt was removed, and the numbers match.  I have a photo collection of the rebuild which is NOT part of the auction.  I will be glad to show it to the winner bidder if they pick it up.  The owner’s manual and factory service manual go with the bike as well.  I did not ride this bike that much (5000 miles) since restoring, and have not ridden it this year as it does need new tires.  The bike drives and handles very nice and has plenty of power.  As is every year it will most likely need a battery since I don’t remove it in the winter.  I did convert the ignition over to the Boyer electronic which is a big improvement over the original three points set–up.

The bike currently reads 13K miles, but the cable was broken when I bought it.  The tach stopped working last year, and after inspection it most likely is the drive gear (available part) that engages the cam shaft as the cable and tach work fine.

Buyer must make a $500 non-refundable PayPal deposit within 24 hours of action's end.  The balance must be paid by cash, check or wire within 7 working days of auction's end.  Wire fees must be absorbed by buyer.

Bid with confidence, if you have any questions, contact me I will respond promptly.

New Stuff: Bridgestone Battlax Racing R10s

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

...stickier than a Weatherspoons floor on a Friday night. Well that’s not exactly an official Bridgestone technical term but no matter which way you look at it the brand new Battlax Racing R10 tyre is a ‘Road legal’ Supersport/Superstock race tyre. It’s used as the control tyre for the Aprillia RRV450 race series.

Triumph Hellfire Flat Tracker – Video

The Triumph Bonneville is the popular choice when it comes to flat tracking, but maybe it’s time to rethink that decision. German Triumph dealer Motocorner thinks so, anyway. Their flat tracker of choice?

Major Updates Coming for 2015 Triumph Tiger 800

Thu, 09 Oct 2014

Triumph is set to reveal some new updates to its Tiger 800 including a number of different versions making it either more highway or more off-road oriented. The both the Tiger 800XC and the less adventure-worthy Tiger 800 will see two new variants, with the Tiger 800 likely being rebranded as the Tiger 800XR. A newly-published executive order from the California Air Resources Board reveals the names for four new Tiger 800 variants known as the XCA (likely standing for XC Adventure), XCX, XRT (or XR Touring) and XRX.
