Triumph Tiger description

2014 Triumph Tiger 800 XC ABS, CALL TO SAVE $$$ - We built the Tiger 800XC to be just like the Tiger 800, but with a little bit more. Using the rugged Tiger 800 as a starting point, we added a pack of special off-road equipment so you can keep on going when you run out of tarmac. The three-cylinder engine is the same 800 cc triple found in the Tiger 800 so it’s got loads of torque and muscular power. And the tough steel frame and long distance fuel range are from the Tiger 800 too. The added XC is what gives you the next-level off-road ability. This is a hard-core bike that you can cross continents on, whether or not there are roads going in that direction. Just load it up and go.

The most spectacular, and perhaps dangerous, road race in the world is more than a month away — a painfully long wait for fans! — but the Isle of Man is ramping up activities for the 2012 Isle of Man TT with the official race kickoff event slated for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18, at Villa Marina in the Isle of Man’s capital, Douglas. The launch event takes place at 7pm [GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or 4pm EST in the U.S.], and will broadcast live via webstream on the TT’s official site homepage: www.iomtt.com.

If Carlsberg made race circuits...

I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).
