This past weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival, Triumph took the wraps off a special edition Thruxton that was created with the famed Ace Café London. Harkening back to one of the lynchpins of the British café racer movement of the 1960s, the Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition molds the profile of the classic Triumph racer of the era to the thoroughly modern Thruxton. ACE Cafe North America Opening In Orlando This Year

Mark McKee, the CEO of ACE North America (the U.S.-based spinoff of Ace Cafe London), says the Orlando based ACE Cafe North America will be open by the end of this year. McKee has signed a lease for several industrial buildings at 100 W. Livingston, next to Interstate 4 and the downtown Lynx and SunRail train stations.

Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.
