Triumph Reveals Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition for US Market – Video

This past weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival, Triumph took the wraps off a special edition Thruxton that was created with the famed Ace Café London. Harkening back to one of the lynchpins of the British café racer movement of the 1960s, the Thruxton Ace Café Special Edition molds the profile of the classic Triumph racer of the era to the thoroughly modern Thruxton. 2013 Triumph Trophy Spy Photos

Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.

First Look: Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support

I'm predominantly a road rider, so I haven't had much to do with neck braces, until now. I'm heading on the launch of the new Triumph Tiger 800 and there will be a session of light off-roading so I thought this would be a chance to try the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support, mainly to see what it was like for day-to-day use. I hope I don't crash hard enough to test its protection qualities and I don't expect to be clearing any table tops either, but I'm curious to know how I get on with the BNS and whether it feels claustrophobic.
