Triumph Tiger description

Like new 2013 Triumph Explorer, bike has been barley used and very well maintained.  It is a 1215cc bike with shaft drive and ABS/ traction control, amazing amount of power and torque.  Sport bike feel and dirt bike capabilities.  This is the bike everyone wants, simply the best of both worlds. I have owned over a dozen motorcycles in my life time and this bike has the most comfortable saddle and rider postilion. Reason for selling is.......some of the extra toys need to go in order to raise capital for son attending college soon.

These upgrades are substantial not cheap add ons.  The factory bags suck and the rattle constantly, the hand protectors are cheap plastic and will break if a fall happens.  These upgraded bags are awesome and the hand guards are metal inside thus insuring no broken levers if a fall happens, ever try to drive home with a broken clutch lever?!?  These are expenses you would have to make over time, why spend the money and your labor, my bike has it all.

Extras include
SW Motech Upper Crash Protection ($260)
Headlight Cage ($100)
Bark Busters Hand and lever protection ($140)
Belly Pan ($125)
Custom made rear top case Pelican Brand ($100)
Givi Panniers 48 liter hard bags and  mounting system ($975)  Givi bags are far superior to Triumph Brand bags and mounting system. They are stainless and hard as rocks, will protect anything you put inside and yes they are waterproof.

I will assist with shipping arrangements in US ONLY

Bike is also listed locally so I do reserve right to end auction early.

2012 Triumph Daytona 675, 675R Recalled in Canada for Missing Throttle Cable Guide

Tue, 21 May 2013

Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R because certain units may be missing a throttle cable guide. Without the guide, the throttle cable may get stuck in the steering stop, preventing the throttle from opening or closing properly. Such a situation could result in a loss of propulsion or, if the throttle is stuck open, could make it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle.

2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 Review - First Ride

Wed, 23 Mar 2022

This cat's claws are sharper than ever Credit: Photos by Kingdom Creative Triumph’s open-class ADV bike, the Tiger 1200 (or Tiger Explorer depending on what era we’re talking about), had begun to get a little long in the tooth. The big cat hadn’t received a major overhaul since its introduction in 2012 – only receiving incremental upgrades to keep the machine relevant over the past 10 years. The Brits did give the bike some refreshes and new tech over that time, but nothing compared to the latest iteration that I was lucky enough to get a proper two-day test of around the backroads and trails of the Iberian Peninsula.

DiSalvo, Myers and Riedmann to Ride Triumph D675R for Daytona 200

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

Latus Motors Racing announced it will compete in the 2013 Daytona 200 with Jason DiSalvo, Elena Myers and Kenny Riedmann on the Triumph Daytona 675R. DiSalvo should be considered one of the favorites for the Daytona 200. DiSalvo won the 2011 edition of the race on a Ducati 848 for Latus, and nearly did it again in 2012, finishing second on a Triumph Daytona 675R sporting a special livery in tribute to Gary Nixon.
