Triumph Tiger description

Up for sale my beautiful Triumph Tiger 800 XC ABS 2011. As you can see I have been taking care of this bike since day one. I have been riding for over 25 years and have owned a wide range of motorcycles, this is by far the most powerful, versatile, smooth, responsive and reliable dual sport bike I have had. Before I bought this bike I was convinced I was getting a bmw gs800, a triumph dealership happened to be next door of bmw, took a test ride and I was sold by second gear. The triple engine has no comparison, and it shifts like new. If you have never tried this engine, it will amaze you and you will never go back to a twin. I have changed the oil and filter my self every 3000 miles with fully synthetic oil, I have also changed the battery recently, sprockets and chain, so you are good to go for a while. The rear tire has less than 500 miles, the front still has about 2000 miles more to go. You will also get the original street tires which probably have less than 500 miles, and the stock muffler.
The aftermarket muffler LeoVince is about 6 months old and gives it just the right tone, not too loud or annoying.
This is a dual purpose bike so it does have some blemishes and light scuffs on the side plastics. which by the way are very inexpensive and easy to replace, the front turn light lenses are broken, lights do work, I ordered them so you will get a new pair with the bike. The tank has a dent on the left side, see pics, it is really not too noticeable because of the white paint and the shape of the tank, no scratches on the tank. The front peak has a small crack, very minor, see pics. All controls and lights work. Bike is in great overall condition and you will not find a cleaner dual sport bike out there.
Please let me know if have any questions or if you would like to see additional pics.

2006-2009 Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple Recalled

Mon, 24 Sep 2012

Triumph is issuing a recall on the Daytona 675, the Street Triple and the Street Triple R for model years 2006-2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator rectifier on the affected Triumph units may overheat, damaging its internal components. This may affect the regulator rectifier’s ability to control the charge capacity of the batteries, potentially leading the battery to become discharged completely.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Factory Kit version

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Factory is the motorcycle world's equivalent of 'legend': it's a word that gets thrown around so much it loses its meaning. However, this Factory Race Kit Daytona 675 justifies the 'factory' tag. It's the kit developed by Triumph for race teams who want a quick step up to the maximum amount of performance a Daytona 675 can offer.
