Triumph Tiger description

2009 Triumph Tiger ABS, VERY CLEAN - Tiger It commutes. It tours. It scratches. Take one look and it's clear the Tiger is built to perform in more ways than one. It will scratch, tour and commute. Powered by a torquey 1,050 cubic centimeter triple cylinder engine with an infectious sound and feel, it boasts the performance specification of a sports bike: braced swing arm, fully adjustable Showa USD forks, remote spring preload and rebound damping adjustable Showa rear monoshock, twin floating front discs with four-piston radial callipers and 17 inch wheels with 120 / 180 profile sports tires. Usability has always been a key benefit of all Triumph motorcycles and the Tiger retains this no matter what type of journey. There's no adventure too demanding. A commanding view from the upright riding position makes overtaking and filtering easy through rush hour traffic. The muscular triple with powerful brakes and sporty chassis make carving through the twisties a real pleasure. And for the long haul the ergonomically designed seat with screen and fairing ensures comfort and control regardless of distance. A 5.2 gallon fuel tank and optional ABS add to the practicality.

Price William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.

New Triumph joins the family this Friday

Tue, 23 Mar 2010

With the nights drawing out it feels like an end to what has been a very long winter. I’ve been getting the train to work recently and if you’ve used London’s tube network in rush hour then you’ll know what I mean when I say the words ‘inhuman over crowding’. I had a call from the Triumph factory in Hinckley today and the good news is my new staff bike will be ready for collection on Friday.
