Triumph Tiger description

1971 Triumph Tiger , Thanks for your interest in my bike. Unfortunately I'm selling this work of art for a couple different reasons. 1) I hurt my neck two and a half months ago and it prevents me from turning my head too sharply. 2) Looking to catch up on some debt. I really love this bike and it'll break my heart to see it go. About the bike: -2831 miles since restoration which I was told took place in 2000 -External oil filter has been added -Electronic ignition: Boyers -Three owners before me. -I've had the bike for over a year. -Engine was bored 20 over. New pistons and rings from the last owner. -Carburetor was tuned last May. -Mikuni carb -Hagon rear shocks -New speedo cable -New steering lock -Spring oil change (has been sitting for about 2 months) -Replaced some odds and ends: brake stop light switch, inspection plugs, rocker inspection caps, new side mirror, new Lucas turn signals. The bike really is sharp. I get compliments on it every time I take it out. Starts up cold on the second kick, starts up on the first kick when warm. It'll idle with choke off right after starting up when cold. Everything pretty much works on it. I used this as my daily rider last summer and never gave me any problems. It's an old bike so there are some imperfections with it side stand broke off (by previous owner but still have the stand), center stand is bent, seat foam has settled a bit, and gears sometimes grind when downshifting into first. I'm sure I missed some thing in this email. If you have any questions please email me. $4,250.00 7739779799

2013 Triumph Special Edition Bonneville and Speed Triple Announced

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

Triumph has revealed Special Edition versions of the Bonneville and Speed Triple for 2013, proving once again that nothing delivers a bang for the buck like cosmetic enhancements to popular models. Most appealing to our eyes is the subtle but sexy Triumph Speed Triple SE (pictured above.) Its Matte Graphite color is beautifully set off by soft blue accents of the frame, swingarm, subframe and wheel pinstriping. Included on the SE are a color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
