1966 Triumph T100SC Desert Sled
Bike comes with the original 1966 California Title and Registration. Bike has matching Frame and Engine numbers. Bike was built as a desert sled, and runs great. I did not personally build the bike but here are the things done according to the previous owner: Original Koni Shocks XL350 front end ( longer travel, and better brake) T140 gas tank Bates style seat Original Bud Ekins pipes Mikuni Carburetor Handmade Aluminum skidplate Big Bore kit T120TT rear Fender (Very Rare) New Tires Period correct Q-filter/aircleaner/airbox Im sure there is more that I forgot. Please look at the photos carefully and let me know if you have any questions. I just had the transmission rebuilt due to a false neutral instead of 2nd gear. Here is a list of the service that was done last week: Repair/Clean Carburetor Run Fuel line dual petcock to single Repair Transmission No 2nd Gear Clean out Debris Trans Case Clean out Debris Primary Case Fabricate Intake Manifold Shift Forks (2) Shift Shaft & Camplate Fuel line elbows (3) New Lock Tab Trans Shaft Oils 30W Primary Drive 80W Transmission Bike runs very strong, and is a blast to ride. With a headlight and taillight this bike can be ridden on the street, it was never registered as an Off-Highway vehicle. It does leak quite a bit of oil out of the left side case (Primary oil). It will need a new seal. Bike is sold AS-IS with no warranty or claims of any kind. This is a 30+ year old motorcycle, and you are responsible for having the bike inspected before purchase and or riding the bike. I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Sharing the same platform as the Trident 660 roadster, the 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is a middleweight “adventure sports” model, claiming class-leading power and low cost of ownership. By “adventure sports”, of course, we’re talking about sport-touring models that are styled after true ADVs rather than sportbikes.
Triumph Announces Expansion to India
Tue, 28 Jun 2011Triumph Motorcycles has announced plans to sell its motorcycles in India in 2012, becoming the latest manufacturer to enter the world’s second largest market. Triumph has appointed Ashish Joshi as managing director for its operations in India. Joshi is the former head of European operations for India-based Royal Enfield.
