Triumph Tiger description

Vintage 1957 Triumph T110 650cc Pre-Unit Project Bike - Chopper Cafe Scrambler

Bike is in overall good shape.  I believe the frame is actually a 1954 frame, with the engine being a 1957.  This bike was in a garage fire, but came out mostly unscathed except for some melted rubber.  Engine is seized, but I am not sure the extent, may just be rings. Most of the bike is intact, which makes it a perfect start to a project.  This would make a great pre-unit scrambler or cafe racer.  I do not have a title, but I can obtain one for $175.

Buyer to pay $200 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at the end of the auction.  Balance due within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made.

Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up in Tucson, AZ.  I can deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee.

Triumph’s Wheel Bearing Recall Spreads to US for 2011-2012 Daytona 675, Street Triple and 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Earlier this week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for unapproved wheel bearings for the 2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 sportbike and its naked sibling the Street Triple. As expected, a similar recall has now been announced for the U.S., adding the Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm cruisers to the campaign. The recall also affects the 2011-2012 Triumph Street Triple R but the Daytona 675R is not included in the recall.

2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R/RS Review - First Ride

Fri, 03 Mar 2023

A significant engine update combined with further chassis refinement Credit: Photos by Gareth Harford, Andrew Northcott, and Chippy Wood For the previous week, I’d anxiously checked the weather reports for updates. Sandwiched in between swaths of little sun icons were two little black clouds spewing raindrops. Naturally, those were the scheduled dates for the US press to ride the 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS on the Andalusian backroads and the famed Circuito de Jerez Angel Nieto in southern Spain.
