1965 Suzuki MD50. Everything works (lights, horn, neutral indicator, etc.). Starts right up and runs/drives great. Carburetor cleaned and adjusted, muffler baffle cleaned, carbon removed from piston and cylinder head. New sealed lead-acid battery. Tank liner installed. New speedometer/odometer and headlamp housing. Otherwise, externally nothing has been restored (original paint, hardware, etc.). There is some discoloration on the tank chrome that appears to be permanent (see photos). Ignition switch works but is not keyed (switch can be turned on/off with anything that fits into key slot). Selling 20,000 units since its reintroduction in 2019, the Speed Twin had once topped the charts as Triumph’s best selling model before being unseated by the likes of the excellent standard Trident 660, and now the equally impressive TR400 machines.
