2012 Triumph Thunderbird STORM ABS - JET BLACK, This bike has been garaged from the day it was rode home from the dealer. It has been in a light mist rain a few miles from home one time. Its had its initial service. It has never been layed down or scratched. This is my first bike and I just don't ride that much. I've put 893 miles on it in one year. It is a beautiful machine. It just doesn't get that much use and I hate to let it sit. I'm only interested in riders who know and want this bike. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
