Bonhams Auctioning “Blur” Guitarist’s Motorcycles For Charity

Graham Coxon, British musician and lead guitarist for Blur, auctioning off seven of his personal motorcycles with proceeds benefitting NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity. Triumph Street Triple Used to Test Rocket Components – Video

California-based aerospace company XCOR is using a Triumph Street Triple to test rocket components for a suborbital spacecraft. Of course, what immediately comes to mind is a giant rocket strapped on to the Triumph, but the truth is much less dramatic, yet still fascinating. XCOR is using the Street Triple for endurance testing of bearings components for the rocket propellant piston pump of the Lynx suborbital spacecraft.

WE SPOTTED this one earlier on French website Motorevue: a Swede, Sivert Raask, has concocted a this motorcycle from Triumph's 1600cc Thunderbird cruiser, with the use of a handmade seat, a Ducati tank and a bit of cunning.Quite tasty for a home-brewed effort, don't you think?
