Triumph Thunderbird description
As good a cruiser as you'll find, for the ride and the look. The 2010
Triumph Thunderbird 1600 cc, is a six speed, belt drive, liquid / air
mix, that handles beautifully around town and on the highway (it was
named "cruiser of the year" in 2010 by most of the major publications.
Ride it and you'll understand why. Seriously, it's great.). This one is Pacific Blue and
Fusion White (Triumph's names, not mine), and looks sweet.
I bought it brand new and have put less than 5,000 miles on it. It has
been serviced on schedule (which is just twice), mostly garage kept
(except a six month stretch where I stored it under a cover outside) and
cleaned regularly and polished regularly.
It has a good amount of chrome Triumph accessories, including: Triumph long custom muffler (While I'll include the stock ones as well, these sound better), rear and
front dresser bars, highway pegs and adjustable mounts, lower belt
guard, radiator cover, t-bird clutch cover, master cylinder cover,
billet style fuel cap, and shifter. It
will also come with the matching blue and white headlamp cowl (makes it
look a bit like a Boulevard), as well as a Triumph full windscreen with
the mounting kit (the latter is still in the box and has never been used).
All things being equal I'd keep this thing indefinitely, because it really is an incredibly solid and good looking motorcycle. But I'm moving
out of the country for awhile, and a bike like this should be
ridden and not sitting idle in a garage somewhere.

2023 Triumph Modern Classics Range Get New Colors, New Names
Tue, 05 Jul 2022Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 name changes are now official Triumph announced updated color options for its Bonneville “Modern Classics” range, as well as new names for the Street Scrambler and Street Twin. The 2023 paint schemes are generally more vibrant than the 2022 colors, a change brought about in part from the popularity of last year’s Gold Line edition models. Confirming the news we first reported in May, the Street Scrambler has been renamed the Scrambler 900, while the Street Twin will now be called the Speed Twin.
2012-2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 Recalled in Canada
Mon, 25 Mar 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.
