2001 Triumph Thunderbird , A Thunderbird Triple with a Velorex 700 sidecar deluxe model. Good condition, runs well, well maintained. Pro mounted, custom mounts and brackets, tracks and stops well. Will cruise at 70 mph no problem. All extras with car plus a handbuilt pine utility box that mounts in place of the car. Full windshield on bike and a plug for your GPS or cell. Lots of storage/travel space and a full cover for the car in bad weather. Check the Velorex web site for features of the 700 model. Look up Triumph Thunderbird (T3) 900 for reviews...very reliable. 2013 Triumph Trophy SE Recalled in Canada for Potential Fuel Leak
Thu, 30 May 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Triumph Trophy SE because of a potential fuel leak. As yet, no recall has been announced for the U.S., but we expect one to be announced shortly by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. According to Transport Canada, the fuel tanks on certain Trophy models may have been manufactured incorrectly and may leak fuel.
The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!
Tue, 02 Jun 2009According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run. Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake. Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump.
