This Triumph Sprint ST w/ ABS only has 24,707 miles on the clock, and only has a couple of modifications: Trident / TOR exhaust http://www.trident-exhausts.co.uk/page-silencers_sprint-st-1050.php This exhaust system is generally accepted as the best aftermarket exhaust for this bike, and in this case, it was dealer installed at purchase by the previous owner On 3/6/15, I installed a new K&N Air Filter, and also installed a Power Commander III. This was done at Jupiter Cycle Racing http://www.jupitercycle.com/ They also tuned the bike on their Dyno (please see attached printout of the runs), and it now makes almost 119 HP and 75 of torque, measured AT the rear wheel. On that shop visit, the fuel tank was removed & drained, fuel pump serviced, and a new fuel level sender installed (expensive!). The spark plugs were also replaced. On 10/15/15, I replaced the Rectifier which had gone bad. The fork was removed, disassembled and new seals & bushings put in, along with new fork oil and a new front tire. Official Triumph Owner's Manual Confirms Speed Twin and Scrambler Name Changes
Mon, 27 Jun 2022Back in early May, MO broke the news that Triumph is giving the Street Twin and Street Scrambler models new names for 2023, renaming them the Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900, respectively. We have now uncovered further evidence of the name changes, plus confirmation that the models are otherwise identical to the 2022 versions. The cover for the 2022 manual for Triumph’s Modern Classics is on the left and the updated 2023 cover is on the right.

But slimming down the 955i Daytona by losing its original one-sided swingarm, and other weight-saving measures, sometimes seemed more like cost-cutting ones. And maybe Triumph sensed the imminent demise of the superbike a bit earlier than some others.

Wed, 23 Mar 2022This cat's claws are sharper than ever Credit: Photos by Kingdom Creative Triumph’s open-class ADV bike, the Tiger 1200 (or Tiger Explorer depending on what era we’re talking about), had begun to get a little long in the tooth. The big cat hadn’t received a major overhaul since its introduction in 2012 – only receiving incremental upgrades to keep the machine relevant over the past 10 years. The Brits did give the bike some refreshes and new tech over that time, but nothing compared to the latest iteration that I was lucky enough to get a proper two-day test of around the backroads and trails of the Iberian Peninsula.

I think the 2002 Triumph Speed Triple was one of the first bikes we reviewed upon my arrival. That’s me resting on the couch after performing the horn mono for Minime’s Kodak Brownie, which took a lot out of me.

2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 - First Look

A substantial reduction in weight and an emphasis on power and handling is the name of the game for 2022. Bringing its big ADV into line with the 900s, the Tiger 1200 will be offered in five trims: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer which follow the same naming scheme with the GT trims being more road-focused while the Rally versions offer off-road accoutrement such as larger wheels and more suspension travel.
