Triumph Sprint description
2006 Triumph Sprint 1050 – 46K miles –
I bought this bike a couple years ago and have ridden, trouble free on many long distance touring trips. I have several other projects that need attention, so I'm letting this one of a kind bike go. There's several Sprints out there, but none have the accessories and custom paint that this one does. Between the custom paint and the AWESOME sounding Triton exhaust, it gets lots of attention! Bike was painted by previous owner who was a painter by trade. He used factory Triumph blue, silver and black to create a simple, but beautiful full pain job. Hard side cases and top case were painted to match at the same time. All the accessories above, I added. It's super comfortable on long trips and plenty of luggage space to carry everything you need. The Bags Connection tank bag is awesome! The locking ring is mounted to the gas ring and you just pull a tab to release when you want to fill the gas tank. The ring is hard wired and fused to the battery and provides power to a SE plug inside the bag. Now you can power your GPS, GoPros, Sena, charge your phone or whatever! Oil was changed every 5K with Mobil! Synthetic. Tires are newer and should last another season. No issues mechanically. The only thing I can fault is the rear rim was scratched by the stupid dealer when they changed the tires this spring! I was planning on pulling them off and having them powdercoated either black or blue to better match the bike at some point. Clear papers in MY name. $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. I will not ship. No overseas sales. Possible delivery in my enclosed trailer for a fee. Bike doesn't leave my possession until ALL funds have cleared my bank. I reserve the right to end ad early as the bike is for sale locally too. Email with any questions! |

Triumph Releases Third Adventure Bike Teaser Video
Fri, 03 Sep 2010Triumph has released the third in a series of videos teasing its two upcoming adventure motorcycles, this one describing the bikes’ new chassis. We know from the first two installments that Triumph is developing two models, one focused for on-road riding, the other for off-road, and both models will use a mid-sized long-stroke three-cylinder engine. The third part tells us the two models will use a steel frame and feature an upright riding geometry.
Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.
Fri, 13 Jan 2012Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
