For sale is my 2013 Triumph Speed Triple R 1050cc ABS. 6900 miles. Bike is in like new condition and always garaged. Phantom black metallic paint. Clear title in hand and also included is a Pit Bull single side swing arm stand and extra key. Bike was purchased new from Team Triumph in Janesville, Wi. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, however I can travel locally or up to 150 miles with the bike on a trailer for an extra cost. Thank you for looking. The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.

Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.
