Triumph Other description

OVERVIEW

On auction is my 2015 Triumph Thruxton Ace Special Edition.   Only 325 of these beautiful bikes were made available in the USA and you won't find a nicer example than this one.   I bought the bike in July 2015 and it's been very lightly (and carefully) ridden by a mature owner (only 1194 miles) and lovingly cared for.   The Thruxton has been garaged (under two covers) since new.   Unfortunately, due to my growing family and work commitments, I no longer have the time to ride, so the bike needs to go to a new home.

MODIFICATIONS

The only modifications that I have made to the Thruxton was to replace the rear fender, rear light and turn signals with a British Customs fender eliminator kit and small bullet turn signals.   The Thruxton's profile is a lot cleaner with the smaller turn signals and stock fender removed.  All work was done by the professionals at Dylan Brothers in Nebraska (before they shipped the bike to me last year).   No other modifications have been made.  Everything else is completely original stock.

Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
