Triumph Other description

2013 Triumph Thruxton - Brooklands Green, Thruxton. The café racer. Reinvented.Thruxton. Named after the race track where Triumph ruled the roost and inspired by the famous Ton Up Boys of the 60's. The Thruxton is our sportiest classic, an authentic café racer delivering that unique Triumph riding experience. Low rise bars, sporty riding position, 18-inch spoked wheels, megaphone style exhaust and a modern 865 cc parallel-twin engine. It stirs the heart for those around at the time and for those who seek the classic sporty retro cool.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.

Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 - First Look

Tue, 07 Dec 2021

Less weight, more power, and more versatility Triumph has finally spilled the beans on its thoroughly redesigned Tiger 1200. A substantial reduction in weight and an emphasis on power and handling is the name of the game for 2022. Bringing its big ADV into line with the 900s, the Tiger 1200 will be offered in five trims: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer which follow the same naming scheme with the GT trims being more road-focused while the Rally versions offer off-road accoutrement such as larger wheels and more suspension travel.
