2011 Triumph Thruxton 900 The 2011 Triumph Thruxton is a sporty, classic motorcycle that got its inspiration from the Bonneville-based café racer-style bikes popular in the 1960s. Launched in 2004, it got its name from the famous Hampshire racetrack in Great Britain – a place Triumph had a great deal of success. An air-cooled, 865-cc, twin cylinder engine that churns out 68-horsepower at 7400 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 51 lb-ft of torque at 5800 rpm powers the 2011 Triumph Thruxton, which is an incredible improvement from the Bonneville. IT's fun to ride. Thanks to 1.7-inch forks teamed with chromed twin shock absorbers, both adjustable for preload, ride and handling is composed and pleasant. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.

The ten laps of the race saw Smith and his Kawasaki battling for the lead with Coolbeth and Jake Johnson and Jared Mees sitting close behind waiting for an opening.
