2003 Triumph Speedmaster, Classic British Coolness If you have never ridden a British twin you should - Sometimes more than simple cruising is required and for those who want a sharper edge, Triumph has created the new Speedmaster. From its flat bars to its gunslinger saddle, its cut down mudguard to its cast wheels, the Speedmaster exudes attitude and a clear desire to be ridden. Finished in matt black, the 790cc parallel-twin engine, with its loping exhaust note, provides the potent means of forward motion. The well-balanced chassis and twin disc brakes form a sound platform for harder riding, while the feet-forward riding position and ample low down torque contribute to effortless, mile-munching cruising. 40-Day Motorcycle Ride for Breast Cancer Groups
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Charlotte, N.C., writer and motorcycle adventurer Tamela Rich is heading out on a cross-country ride to raise money for breast cancer causes. Along her tour, Rich will meet with breast cancer survivors and interview them for her upcoming book, “Live Full Throttle: What You Can Learn About Life From Women Who’ve Faced Cancer”. This will be Rich’s second tour across the country.
2015 Triumph Daytona 250 Spied
Fri, 29 Nov 2013Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.

Tue, 05 Apr 2011With the full factory fitted arrow system and map fitted it was time to give the Speed a run on a Dyno to see where the power is at. Over two runs the best results were as follows; Power at the crank : 130bhp & 75 ft.lbs torque Power at the gearbox : 124bhp & 72 ft.lbs torque Power at the wheel : 119bhp & 69 ft.lbs torque The bike has covered 4200 miles and is due its first proper service at 6000 so you would expect to see a reduction in power. Triumph claim on a brand new bike the Speed Triple at best puts out 135bhp and 82 ft.lbs torque at the crank with the cans fitted, effectively mine has lost 5bhp and 7ft.lbs of torque.
