Triumph Other description
This is a VINTAGE ESTATE-FIND TRIUMPH FLAT TRACK RACER. It is (I believe) from the late 1960's to early 1970's. You tell me.....
The previous owner had information on the wall of his garage claiming the history as follows: (please refer to pictures provided including photos of the bike being raced and corresponding history) "GORDIE'S AHRMA 1999 NATIONAL CHAMPION BIKE" Gordie did the bottom end work. John Demos did the heads. He flowed the heads, modified the exhaust system. John Demos was one of the best Triumph guys in the world according to Gordie. The engine has 9 and 6 cams? In 1999, the bike won 12 of 14 races. The rider was John Plumb. He had the #1 plate in 250 and 750. ABOUT THE BIKE: Bike has been stored correctly; has good compression; has not been run in 10 years; ran excellent when parked. Serial Numbers on the side case read = AD37116 T100C (please see pics) Triple trees are marked ARCES, Made in Italy" Michelin tires 11/68-19 Not for Highway Use PF14; Cylinder head is marked 52A20GJ; Mikuni Carbs I will consider delivering this bike depending on location and timing. A substantial reduction in weight and an emphasis on power and handling is the name of the game for 2022. Bringing its big ADV into line with the 900s, the Tiger 1200 will be offered in five trims: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer which follow the same naming scheme with the GT trims being more road-focused while the Rally versions offer off-road accoutrement such as larger wheels and more suspension travel.
