Triumph Other description

1966 Rickman Triumph MK 3  650cc twin. A stunning example of one of the best scrambles machines ever built. Restored using 99% of it's original parts and correct in most every way. The best components were used throughout. Triumph TR6C motor , Ceriani forks and triple tree, Girling shocks , Akront rims , Rickman magnesium hubs , Michenall fiberglass , Magura 6 days levers , Avon tires , and of course the fillet brazed nickel plated chrome moly frame . This is not a replica MRD metisse or "MC Queen" but a genuine product of the Rickman Brothers genius.  A Euro-Brit Concours competion class winner in 1993 it has been stored out of sunlight in a climate controlled setting ever since. Perfect for foyer or museum. Available for inspection in southern Oregon . I can deliver this machine to most western states or the Portland Oregon Forward Air terminal. Please call for further information or delivery estimates. 541-899-8934

Triumph did a lot more than just slap a partial fairing on the RS. While it’s still not a fully-faired sportbike (hence why it’s still a Speed Triple and not a Daytona), the RR is a much more track-focused machine than the RS.

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
